『Irony of Sneering off Differentiation 』Multiplying Project – KURONOZ [English]
KURONOZ is a group of performers who wear black-framed glasses, blue dresses and red lipstick. The original KURONO doesn’t wear a cheap wig, but the copy KURUNOZ do. It is a project of people disguising the original KURUNO figure.
In the winter of 1999-2000, as a part of Ray Nakazawa's "Orbital Link" - artists' meeting, KURONOZ accidentally came out as a performance group. Although they started on the proscenium stage, KURONOZ has since been doing site-specific installations, such as ushering, or modeling for photographers in various venues.
